Due to the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic, the international REU program in Southeast Asia has been re-scoped for an in-country (USA) REU experience. We will use a combination of remote delivery and in-person cohort engagement (if guidance from the CDC indicates that we may resume normal activities later in the summer) to deliver a robust, challenging, and exciting REU experience for our REU participants. Given this change in scope, the call for applications has been extended until April 15, 2020. Since we are “treading new waters”, please have patience as guidance from the CDC, university, and other government entities are changing rapidly (e.g., daily).
